Sublime

Sublime has been a member of Lokdown since the spring of 2004. He started bboying a few years before that with friends but when he joined Lokdown he truly began to take this dance serious. He has a strong belief in his abilities as a dancer, he focuses most of his training on the foundation of bboying wanting to be respected as someone who knows and understands where the dance came from and how to do it in it’s original forms. He’s most skilled on his feet before he goes down to the floor having the ability to pick up beat patterns and dance them in their entirety.

Sublime is trying to take a big part in promoting bboying to the Maritimes and exposing it to the rest of Canada. Attempting to make a difference not only on the dance floor, but off it as well. He is constantly pushing the boundaries of how far the Halifax scene can go, and will be sure to continue doing so into the future.
